Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

This policy explains what information PunjabExams.com ("PunjabExams", "we") handles when you use the website, and the choices you have.

1. Information you give us

2. Information stored only on your device

Your practice progress, bookmarks and settings are kept in your browser's local storage. This data is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

3. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information when pages are requested: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used to run and secure the website.

4. Advertising and cookies (Google AdSense)

We show advertisements through Google AdSense. Please note:

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalised advertising cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time from the consent message.

5. How we use information

We use information to answer messages, fix reported errors, keep the website secure and running, and show advertising. We do not sell personal information.

6. Sharing

Information is shared only with service providers that run the website (hosting and form handling by Netlify, advertising by Google), or where the law requires it.

7. Retention

Form messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with them and to keep a record of corrections, and are then deleted. Data in your browser stays there until you clear it.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information you have sent us through the contact form. Depending on where you live (for example, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 or UK/EU data-protection law), you may have further rights, including the right to complain to a data-protection authority.

9. Children

The website is meant for exam aspirants. Users under 18 should use it with the consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. External links

We link to official government websites and other sources. Their privacy practices are their own.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date above.
